• Unzip your files using WinZip or WinRar or any other ZIP application and install the package files in the folder:

  My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads

• If you are new at downloading you may have to create a folder there, you can also use an installation program like Sims2Pack Clean installer

• You will have to download the Colour Enabler Package, (with thanks to Numenor, RGiles and Quaxi) for any downloaded objects to appear in your game. Make sure your version is the right one for the expansion packs you have installed.

• Some files are distributed as .sims2packages; just double-click on the blue icon, and they will install by themselves.

After your payment has been confirmed, we individually prepare your download.

Except for payments via echeck, this usually takes just a few minutes and returning from PayPal you might even be greeted by a web page featuring your download.

For added comfort, we have added a feature where you can check all your purchase related downloads. This site is available here. To log in, enter the e-mail address which you use with PayPal as well as the post code (zip) of your address (the one you gave PayPal), then click on submit (→ picture 1). The following page shows you all your downloads (→ picture 2).

After your purchase has been confirmed by PayPal, we send you an e-mail containing the relevant link(s); additionally, you can look up your downloads at this site.

When downloading, please note:

• Your link is valid for 5 (five) days after your payment has been confirmed by PayPal.
• Your link is valid for 5 (five) download attempts.
• Preferably do not use a download manager
• If you are using a download manager , make sure that it uses one connection only! Otherwise it could use up all your download attempts in one go - and will fail if it uses more then five connections simultaneously.

In order to create a high quality set e.g. like the Prinz Livingroom, we spend about 100 hours. This involves creating the meshes (usually from scratch!), coloring them, creating the animations, testing them in the game and re-doing everything if it doesn’t work.

Also please see that most objects and sets on this site are available without charge.

Additionally, we have to pay for our server, the bandwidth and the maintenance of our infrastructure.

All this considered, the amount we ask you to pay is very little compared to the effort we put into the creation - it is actually just a small acknowledgement of the effort we put into this.

Thus said, we kindly ask you to be fair and not to distribute the purchased objects to your pals. Please refer them to our site.

We experienced quite a few problems sending our confirmation e-mails (which contain your valuable dowload link ) to AOL e-mail addresses.

If you are using AOL mail, please make sure that you can receive e-mails from info@37sims.com - most likely you will have to set your spam filter accordingly.
